What is The Law of attraction?
The Law of Attraction is the universal law that allows you to manifest your thoughts into reality. The Law of Attraction is always working: changing thoughts into things. Some things take longer to manifest than others.
People often focus their mind on doubting themselves or their abilities, rather than looking for ways of improving their life. They look for reasons why their life cannot improve for the better. They may blame their parents, their lack of education, the economy, society or even their health.
They want their luck to change, but don’t want to change how they think. This is why people continue suffering apathy, low self esteem, worry, anxiety and fear. 🙁The law of attraction always attracts more of what you are thinking about.
The theory behind the law of attraction is very simple. You can use it to work in your favour by using the power of your mind to focus your attention on thoughts that make you feel good. When you focus your attention on a good feeling thought, the idea starts to manifest.
Manifesting what you want
The idea has to be relevant to you, and in line with your own personal values. A thought or idea is like a seed that you are planting in your imagination. The idea, like the seed needs sustained energy and nourishment to grow. It needs all the right conditions to reach it’s full potential. Check out these 10 tips to create these conditions.
1. Create space for your new idea
In order to manifest an idea, you have to let go of an existing idea that no longer serve’s you. Let go and leave this thought alone. This idea will eventually shrink and collapse due to lack of energy.
This will create space in your mind, for your new idea to grow.
2. Write down what you want to manifest
Write your new exciting idea down on paper or card, this gives you something tangible to remind you of your why. You can either write, draw or sketch what you want to manifest. Keep this piece of paper/card in a safe place, put it somewhere like your wallet.
Every time that you open your wallet, this will then trigger the good feeling thoughts of your vision. I learned this idea of creating a goal card from reading Bob Proctor’ books. Bob Proctor was in the film ‘The secret’, a film about The Law of attraction.
3. Develop laser focus
Regularly focus on your dream/vision: give it an image, shut your eyes and hold your attention on that image. You don’t need to spend a long time doing this. When you are focusing your attention on that image, you are giving it power.
This focused attention, energises your idea allowing it to expand and grow within your consciousness. This technique is an effective form of meditation. Developing laser focus is an amazingly powerful skill to master.
4. Get excited about your idea
In order to create the right conditions, your idea needs passion and enthusiasm. You have to raise your energy levels and get excited about this idea or it will never grow. Giving this idea passion, excitement and enthusiasm is like feeding your idea.
Similar to a plant that needs a good fertiliser to grow, your idea needs this high energy intensity for expansion.
5. Use sound to put yourself into a positive vibration
A good indication of how well you are doing, is how good you feel about your idea. Your mood reflects how you feel on the inside. When you feel happy and upbeat, you are in a positive vibration.
I listen to guided meditation’s in the morning, it helps to kickstart my day. At the moment I am listening to ‘I AM ABLE’ Guided Meditation 1000’s Of Affirmations 3D Sound by Paul Santisi on you tube. I am not affiliated with Paul Santisi, but think his meditation’s are very powerful.
I find that when you feel good, you think more clearly, creatively and your work is always of a much higher quality. When you feel agitated, stressed or in a low vibration, take a step back from what you are doing. Just as a weight lifter has to rest between sets of repetitions, it is important to take regular breaks in order to calm your mind.
Visualise yourself having succeeded in manifesting your vision/dream. How would this feel? How would this positively enhance your life? Would this success allow you to enrich other people’s lives? Visualise the image bright and bold in your imagination.
When you feel like you have already manifested your dream, you are coming from an attitude of abundance. Using your imagination in this powerful way, is intelligent. It is important to practise using your imagination creatively to visualise what success would look and feel like.
7. Take action: one step at a time
You can’t build a reputation
on what you’re going to do.
It’s simple, fantasise, rehearse,
then go out into the world
and DO IT !
It is very important to take action, but this step is often overlooked. Success will not always happen magically like in the film “The Secret”. Despite this many people spend hours daydreaming, without any action.
Daydreaming throughout the day will not help you, it is better to stay focused on what you are doing. Give every task your full conscious attention and take action one step at a time.
8. Let go of it
You don’t have to work hard, you just have to remain focused and keep moving forward. Relax and remember to let go from time to time. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the process of co-creation.
There is no point in stressing out because that won’t work. Keep checking in on how you are feeling. How you feel on the inside will reflect how you see the outside world.
9. Being – just be
A great way to let go and reset your mind is by just ‘being’. ‘Being’ is a great way to recharge, reset and reconnect. Sit down, relax and focus your attention into your body.
Practice holding your attention in your body for 5 minutes. Feel the energy.
10. Don’t wait to create
Don’t wait to create ! The Law of Attraction has always been working, it’s just you may have not realised it. Make a decision and get started. There is no attraction without action.
